Gosh. 6 weeks since my last journal entry. What the hell is up with me, you ask?
Well, a lot of things. I'm not really in the best condition there is, both mentally and physically but I'll manage. A lot of stuff has happened the past few weeks, some were positive, the majority negative. I don't really want to make this a big topic and especially not public but I can assure you that I'll be okay.

My civil services will start next month. Wow. I only waited what like 8 months for it. And let me tell you, 8 months with not doing anything are definitely not good for you. Even if you think your holidays are too short, trust me, they are just right.
I'll be working at a center for seniors to do various activities at, language courses, yoga or even just have lunch. It's a wonderful opportunity methinks. I got the chance to work there for about a day and I really enjoyed it. Helping others is definitely something I enjoy doing. And being helpful to others is what makes life worth living to me.
I didn't get any details but I heard the payment is not too bad at all either. And I really need some money. P:

Art-wise I have been utterly uncreative lately. But that's not new. Also, just about nobody gives a damn about my art anyways so I think I should just stop submitting stuff. I hate pretty much everything I created anyways. But that is also not news. Ergo: nothing new on the art-front. One last thing: Emotes are a curse.

I am still 17 at heart. And I have been 17 at heart since I was 14, I feel like nothing changed in this time lapse. Besides that, my birthdays always suck monkey ass so I suppose this one won't be any different. But Trevor made this beautiful CSS as an early birthday present and I am really happy about it.
My cousin said he wants to drag me to a bar on my birthday. Which I find odd since I normally don't have that much contact with him (Or the rest of my family for that matter). We'll see. And no, I will not get hammered.

...you definitely need to check out ~deutsch, the largest German community on dA. It's been rather dead lately but I am one of the new administrators there and I plan to bring a bit more life into it. At the moment it will stay a bit calm but that will change. I'll make this a group, no matter the cost. D:

That. Is amazing. Probably one of the most amazing music videos I have seen in a long time. One of the very few times I was actually entirely captured by a music video - to an extent that I watched it three times in a row without leaving my eyes off it for a second. And. Several times after that as well.
The whole concept of “What If” just fascinates me. It shows that no matter which decision you make, which type of character you are, you can never foresee things and they never turn out just like you want them to. Life is full of quirks that challenge us. The ending is simply superb. See it for yourself and be the judge.

You should totally check out the artist of the music too. That video made me buy the full album and I have been listening to it ever since. Brightened my shitty day a little.

Anyhoots, how is everyone doing? I know I haven't posted a journal in a while and was lacking activity all around dA but I was just swamped in messages that my motivation decided to commit suicide. (That's why I nuked my messages too - sorry if your comments remain unreplied, I read all of them though. Multiple times.
