My hometown, Düsseldorf, can be quite pretty sometimes.
Will helped me to come up with a title. Sucks that I have to use romaji in it. 優雅 would be the real one, which means Grace or Elegance. Thanks for looking. ♥ More on my Flickr Specs Added border and enhanced in ->Adobe Photoshop CS4 ->Canon EOS 450D + Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens CommentsThis is gorgeous Andy!!! Thanks for uploading eet.

A couple of things I would consider are contrast and point of focus.
This image would really pop if you used photoshop (or something else) to darken the shadows and bushed in the midfield...I think that it would highlight the difference between the flowers and the foreground better. As it is right now, the colors back there look a little washed out because of atmospheric haze.
As for point of focus...for me the central theme of the image is the idea of the statue. What is it? Does it mean something to the viewer? or the flowers? or the trees? I think that you can do more to emphasize the presence of the statue by darkening the grass immediately in front of it and perhaps the shadows on the statue proper.
I love that the statue is obscured and it's purpose and details are left to the viewer. And curiosity is a powerful tool! When I look at this I imagine that I'm in a flowery cathedral and there is something I need to see at the other end.
Like I said, good job!

The color seems only like a tool to capture the viewer and pull them towards the statue in the back, which is almost invisible through the trees. It seems like a place for lovers to meet.
The only criticism I really have, is the loss of detail. The shot was created to encompass a huge area and create a "scene", but you lose all the lovely detail in the individual flowers.
I think this is a marvelous piece overall with some lovely use of framing and is an amazing piece of art.
